Clear the Air Foundation Celebrates Major Milestones in Environmental Impact and Student Support

Denver, CO — 12,10,2025 — The Clear the Air Foundation is proud to celebrate two significant achievements this month, underscoring its dual mission to improve Colorado’s air quality and support the next generation of automotive technicians.

Founded in 2008, the Clear the Air Foundation has now recycled more than 10,000 vehicles, removing high-polluting cars from Colorado roads and contributing directly to a healthier environment for communities statewide. By safely dismantling and recycling these older vehicles, the Foundation helps reduce harmful emissions while creating a cleaner, greener future.

In tandem with this environmental milestone, the Foundation is also celebrating the tremendous impact of its scholarship program. Through the recycling of donated vehicles, the organization has generated and awarded over $1,000,000 in tuition and tool scholarships to aspiring automotive technicians across Colorado—helping equip students with the training and resources needed to thrive in a high-skill, high-demand career.

“This program represents the best of both worlds for a nonprofit to be a part of. We’re not only helping the environment but also assisting automotive technician students in pursuing a rewarding career,” said Mark Zeigler, Director. “Each vehicle recycled and each scholarship awarded reflects the lasting impact our donors and partners make every day. This is life changing!”

Among the students benefiting from the Foundation’s support is Juan, an automotive technician student with Audi Denver, who shared his gratitude for the scholarship opportunity:

“Thank you so much for this incredible opportunity. I am truly honored to be selected as a recipient of the Clear the Air Foundation Scholarship. I am grateful for the chance to grow and advance in my automotive career, and this support means a great deal to me. Your investment in my future motivates me to work even harder toward my goals.

With the tools and resources this scholarship provides, I will be better equipped to succeed in the industry and make a meaningful impact. I want to extend my sincere thanks to Mr. Zeigler and everyone at the Clear the Air Foundation for your generosity, support, and commitment to helping students like me. Your encouragement has been both inspiring and helpful, and I look forward to putting this opportunity to good use.”

The Clear the Air Foundation extends its gratitude to donors, industry partners, automotive dealers, and community supporters who make these achievements possible. Together, they continue to build a cleaner environment and a stronger automotive workforce for Colorado.
