As a beginner mechanic, I am extremely grateful to receive the Clear the Air Foundation Scholarship. I am currently an automotive technology student at Warren Tech and work at McDonald Audi, a new car dealership in the area. When I learned about the scholarship and its criteria, I was excited to apply, as it aligned with my education and work experience.
This scholarship not only supports my education financially but also recognizes the hard work I’m putting into my schoolwork while also gaining hands-on experience. Receiving this $2,500 scholarship has eased the financial burden of tuition, allowing me to focus fully on gaining the skills I need to excel in this industry. This support is enabling me to pursue my Automotive Service Technology AAS degree with greater confidence and peace of mind.
Beyond financial assistance, this scholarship has provided me with valuable validation and encouragement as a female mechanic. Recognition like this empowers individuals to believe in themselves, pushing them to pursue their dreams and goals.
