“Working with the Clear the Air Foundation was a big help to me and my education. Receiving this scholarship means a lot to me and helps me find a career in the automotive industry. When I first enrolled at FRCC I was a senior in high school taking as many college credits as I could. Once I graduated from high school I went into the Ascent program for my next year at Front Range. During that time, I was given a lot of misinformation about what classes I needed to take and ended up missing a bunch of classes my second year. This meant that I had to take a third semester to make up the classes that I missed, and I had to pay it out of pocket. Frustrated from the hiccups that happened I reached out to Clear the Air and submitted an application for the chance at a scholarship and I was accepted! It was such a relief to receive some financial aid and take some stress off me. Receiving this scholarship means a lot to me as it is helping me to achieve my dreams in the automotive world.”
